Ben and I have been dating for just over two years.  We met at work.  I was hired to replace him when he was promoted.  We also realized that we lived in the same apartment complex.  I quickly became friends with the same people he was friends with at work.  Those friends saw something long before we did and tried to gently drop hints that we should get together.  After about two years of being friends we finally saw what they saw and began dating.  We had been dating about a year and a half when he completely surprised me on a Friday night by proposing!
